2024 Biomedical Sciences Symposium

The Annual Biomedical Sciences Symposium attracts some of the top health science research and ideas from throughout academia in Hawaii. The Symposium will have a combination of poster and oral presentations. Short oral Powerpoint presentations will be given by each registered participant. Instead of oral presentations, first year graduate students (M.S. or Ph.D.) as well as first year medical students will present research posters.

Hawai'i Addictions (Virtual) Conference

The University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine and the Departments of Psychiatry, Family Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology are proud to present the 2024 Hawai’i Addictions Conference, Hawai’i’s premier training, education, networking, and skill-building opportunity centering on substance use. The conference will explore new horizons in the diagnosis and treatment of addictions, breakthroughs in evidence-based research, the changing climate of drug policy, and the current culture of patient care.
